Deep Sidhu died in February 2022 in a tragic and suspicious accident. A few months before his death, during an engaging clubhouse discussion hosted by Amritpal Singh and Pippal Singh Randhawa, Deep Sidhu shared his candid views on the dishonest practices of communist farmers’ union leaders during the 2020 farmers’ protest. He highlighted the importance of Sikhs actively participating in elections and revealed his plans. He also spoke about his newly formed organisation, ‘Waris Panjab De’ and its vision following the farmers’ protest that concluded in November 2021.
