It has been 41 years since the anti-Sikh genocide was committed by the Indian state across India. Over the past 41 years, the government has established 14 commissions and various Special Investigative Teams (SITs) to deliver justice. However, so far, only 13 people have been convicted for the killing of over 4,000 Sikhs in Delhi alone, during the four days from November 1 to November 4.
